PROJECT DETAILS
This project consisted of the demolition of the existing Petrocount enclosures in truck loadracks. New FMC Accuload III Split Architecture upgrade. Installed stainless steel enclosures with HMI in 5 lanes. New PLC remote I/O racks and network panels were also installed in each lane with pump starters being controlled via PLC. New Fiber Optic Network designed and installed. Instrumentation replacement. Three-wire RTDs were replaced with 4-wire RTDs. Fiber and fiber breakout boxes were installed where needed to extend the communication network to the new equipment. New power circuits were installed to the loadracks for motor, permissive, SSV, and UPS power.
The project was completed one lane at a time with the other loadracks still in operation during each lane upgrade. The customer was more than satisfied with the crews effort since the project came in ahead of schedule decreasing downtime during the upgrade.
